How to measure

Step 1

Around your bust

Measure around the fullest part of your bust. Keep the tape measure level around your body, including across your back, and do not pull it too tight.

Under your bust

Measure directly beneath your bust, where the bra band sits. Keep the tape measure level and snug, but not tight. Measure after breathing out.

How to check your bra fits

The centre between the cups should lie flat against your chest. If there is a gap, the cups are too small.
The band should stay level across your back when you move your arms. If it rides up, it is too loose.
Adjust the straps so they feel comfortable without digging in. The band should provide most of the support, not the straps.
Your breasts should sit fully inside the cups. If they spill over the edges, the cups are too small. If the cups wrinkle or gape, they are too big.
If you are between two sizes, choose the larger for a looser fit or the smaller for a snugger fit. Sister sizes, such as 75D, 80C and 85B, have a similar cup volume.

Your result is a guide. Bras from different brands may fit slightly differently.

If you have time, wash your bras by hand in warm water, avoid wringing and pat dry with a towel. Hang out to dry or or let the items dry horizontally on a cloth.

If you do not have enough time, use the washing machine, but do everything possible to maintain the quality of the bra. Pressure and heat affect the padding and may cause discoloration, hooks can damage delicate fabrics or lace.

Fasten your bras and put them in a laundry bag to avoid fabric damage caused by loose hooks. Do not wash at temperatures exceeding 30°C. Use only delicate washing programs and detergents. It is recommended to use liquid detergents as these dissolve faster in water and help to retain colours for longer. Do not use tumble dry, let your bras dry naturally.
